iOS development services

Senior iOS help, sized to the work.

Hire 3 Paws when you need an experienced iOS developer in the team, a defined piece of work delivered quickly, or extra native-mobile capacity behind an agency engagement. The model is intentionally simple: direct access, clear scope, hands-on delivery.

Contract capacity

Senior iOS contract development

Need another experienced developer for a release, roadmap, or temporary capacity gap? 3 Paws can plug into an existing team and contribute as a hands-on iOS contractor.

Good for

  • Short- and medium-term capacity
  • Feature ownership
  • Backlog execution
  • Release stabilization
  • Native iOS work inside an existing product
  • Temporary coverage while hiring
  • Senior help during a high-pressure delivery period

How I work

I work directly with your engineering and product team, use your existing repository and delivery process, and adapt to the tools already in place. The goal is to become useful quickly—not impose a consulting methodology.

Bounded delivery

Focused iOS development sprints

A sprint is a short, outcome-driven engagement for work that can be bounded clearly enough to finish—not an open-ended discovery project disguised as delivery.

Examples

  • Build a defined iOS feature
  • Create a functional product prototype
  • Integrate an API or AI capability
  • Fix and finish an incomplete feature
  • Prepare a product for an App Store milestone
  • Investigate and resolve a high-risk technical problem
  • Turn an existing concept into something stakeholders can use
  • Finish or stabilize an app started with AI coding tools

Typical shape

Define → build → review → ship/handoff

Before the sprint starts, we agree on the target outcome, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and what is explicitly out of scope. During the sprint, I keep communication direct and show working software early.

For agencies

Overflow iOS delivery for agencies

Your client needs native mobile work, but your team is full—or iOS is not something you keep staffed full-time. 3 Paws can provide senior iOS delivery behind your engagement.

How it works

I can work alongside your team, take ownership of a defined native-mobile workstream, or operate as a subcontractor where the engagement makes sense. The relationship can stay invisible to the end client or be collaborative and client-facing, depending on your model.

White-label arrangements can be discussed where appropriate.

Discuss agency capacity →

Useful when

  • A web/design agency wins an iPhone app project
  • Your mobile team has more work than capacity
  • A project needs senior native iOS expertise temporarily
  • You need someone who can communicate directly with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders
  • You want a known partner you can call again instead of recruiting from scratch each time

How an engagement starts

Four steps from first note to working software.

  1. Quick fit check

Send the current state, target outcome, timing, and any constraints. I will confirm whether the work is a reasonable fit.

  2. Technical context

I review the codebase, requirements, designs, dependencies, and delivery environment needed to estimate the work responsibly.

  3. Agree on the model

Choose contract capacity or a bounded sprint. We confirm scope, availability, rate/price, communication cadence, IP/confidentiality terms, and acceptance criteria.

  4. Start shipping

I work in your existing delivery workflow where possible, keep progress visible, and surface risk early.

Questions buyers ask

Engagement length, location, pricing, agencies, AI, and how to start.

How long does an engagement usually last?

Contract capacity suits work measured in weeks or months, such as a release, a roadmap stretch, or cover while you hire. A development sprint is shorter and bounded by one defined outcome. The expected length is agreed before any work starts.

Do you work remotely or onsite in the Toronto area?

Remote is the default, working with Canadian and U.S. teams across North American time zones. Onsite time in the Greater Toronto Area can be discussed when the engagement genuinely benefits from it.

How does pricing work?

There are no fixed published prices, because scope, codebase condition, urgency, and integration risk vary too much between projects. The rate or sprint price, the scope, and the acceptance criteria are agreed up front, before work begins.

Can agencies subcontract or white-label the work?

Subcontracting and white-label arrangements can be discussed where they suit the engagement, but they are not guaranteed for every project. Whether I stay behind your team or work directly with your client is agreed per engagement.

How does AI-assisted development affect quality and IP?

AI tools speed up implementation, debugging, and testing, but architecture, code review, and the decision to ship stay human-owned. You own the work product as set out in our engagement agreement.

I started building my app with AI tools and got stuck. Can you help?

Yes. 3 Paws AI Studio takes on apps that were started with AI coding tools and stalled before release. A focused sprint is usually the right shape: I review what exists, decide what to keep, fix the parts that block shipping, and get the app to a working, reviewable state you can build on. Because I use AI-assisted development myself, there is no judgment about how the project started.

How do I start?

Email admin@3paws.ai with what you are building, whether there is an existing codebase, the outcome you need, and your target timing. I will reply with whether the work looks like a fit and what would be useful next.

Need iOS capacity now?

A short description is enough to start. Include what you are building, whether there is an existing codebase, the outcome you need, and your target timing.
